The Helpline operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. It is a fully confidential, free professional service with trained addictions counsellors. 

So what can you expect when you call the Helpline?

The Helpline offers a wide range of services to all of New Zealand. You can expect to be listened to, never judged and offered the support that will suit your needs. The team can provide brief assessments to help identify what your needs are and work with you to determine what the best course of action may be for you to take. They can also provide referrals to specialist services so you can access additional treatment if you need it.

The Helpline team can provide on-going support and case management for all those who are seeking a new way of life free from addiction. They can help with harm reduction techniques, guide you through the early stages of recovery and be there to support you any time you need some assistance.
